Ascension Parish Restaurants Participate in Summer Restaurant Week

Ascension Parish is shining bright in the semi-annual DIG Restaurant Week with the participation of some local favorites!
From July 21 – July 26, 2025 you can visit these restaurants for a special prix fixe menu.

Appetizers
- Spicy Pecan Shrimp- Fried shrimp tossed in horseradish aioli with spicy praline pecans
- Fried Green Tomatoes- Topped with crabmeat and remoulade sauce
Entrees
- Pecan Encrusted Redfish- Pecan-flour crusted and fried golden. Served with lemon butter
- Crab Stuffed Chicken- Chicken breasts filled with crabmeat stuffing, grilled, fried, or blackened. Served with crabmeat au gratin
Desserts
- White Chocolate Bread Pudding- Served warm with rich white chocolate sauce
- Cheesecake- Served cold, plain, or topped with: Strawberry sauce or Pecan praline sauce
