Ascension Parish Restaurants Participate in Winter Restaurant Week
Ascension Parish is shining bright in the semi-annual DIG Restaurant Week with the participation of some local favorites!
From January 26-31, 2026, you can visit these restaurants for a special prix fixe menu.

Appetizers
- Spicy Pecan Shrimp- Fried shrimp tossed in horseradish aioli with spicy praline pecans
- Fried Green Tomatoes- Topped with crabmeat and remoulade sauce
Entrees
- Pecan Encrusted Redfish- Pecan flour encrusted and fried golden. Traditionally served with lemon butter.
- Crab Stuffed Chicken- Crabmeat stuffing between two chicken breasts, grilled, fried, or blackened. Traditionally served with crabmeat au gratin.
Desserts
- White Chocolate Bread Pudding- Served warm with a decadent white chocolate sauce
- Cheesecake- Served cold, plain, or topped with: Strawberry sauce or Pecan praline sauce
