Ascension Parish Restaurants Participate in Summer Restaurant Week

Ascension Parish is shining bright in the semi-annual DIG Restaurant Week with the participation of some local favorites!

From July 20-25, 2026, you can visit these restaurants for a special prix fixe menu.

Daruma Ramen Bar & Grill-Prairieville, LA

Appetizer

  • Bali Mango Tuna Taco-Crispy rice-seaweed shell layered with fresh tuna, sweet mango, and crabmeat, accented with seaweed salad, scallions, and a drizzle of sweet and spicy mayo for a bright, tropical-inspired bite.

Entree

  • Spicy Grilled Chicken Ramen-Wavy noodles in a rich spicy miso chicken broth, topped with grilled chicken, bok choy, kikurage mushrooms, corn, bamboo shoots, marinated egg, scallions, and fresh garlic for a bold, comforting bowl.

Dessert

  • Vanilla Crêpe Cake-Delicate layered crêpe cake filled with smooth vanilla cream, light, soft, and lightly sweet.

  • Crab Stuffed Chicken- Crabmeat stuffing between two chicken breasts, grilled, fried, or blackened. Traditionally served with crabmeat au gratin.

  • Coconut Shrimp- Jumbo Gulf shrimp battered in sweet coconut and deep-fried. Served with Cajun pineapple marmalade.
  • Crab and Squash Soup- Summer squash, red potatoes, and LA blue crab in a savory light broth.

Entrees

  • Yellowfin Tuna Salad- Fresh yellowfin tuna, seared and served over spring mix, romaine, and cabbage blend with purple onions, cucumber, avocado, mango, and sesame seeds. Served with homemade citrus ginger dressing.
  • Crispy Fish Envie- Beer-battered black drum, deep-fried extra crispy served over fettuccine with a robust coconut curry sauce. Finished with crushed peanuts, green onions, and cilantro.
  • LA Combo- Fried stuffed crab, shrimp, oysters, catfish, crawfish tails, and hushpuppies. Salad or coleslaw.
