Whether you are hosting a wedding reception or a meeting, Ascension Parish has several venue options that will be the perfect fit for your sweet event! Ascension Parish Tourism Commission can help you make arrangements for site visits, create customized itineraries, and help you find the perfect spot to host your group!

Cabin and Courtyard

This venue has several spaces outdoor and indoor that can be used for weddings and events. The Courtyard can accommodate 100-200 guests, the Garconniere 45-90 guests, Bernadette’s 40-80 guests, General Store 40-50 guests, Cabin 40 guests and the Schoolhouse 50-130 guests. Onsite catering options are available.

Cypress Hall and Pavillon

Locally owned and operated and located in Prairieville. Cypress Hall is a unique and affordable for all occasions, from weddings, receptions, corporate events, dinner parties and family reunions. Catering available onsite. Can seat up to 200 people.

Gonzales KC Hall

Located in the heart of Gonzales. This venue is set up for wedding receptions, baby showers, class parties, family reunions, and more. The hall rental is for 8 hours and 30 (8’ tables and 180 folding chairs) are available. Use of the bar, ice maker, and kitchen including refrigerator, stove, sink, and wi-fi is available. The hall is 3,000 sq. ft. and can hold up to 250 people maximum depending on the arrangement.

Malco Theatres

The theater is in Gonzales and can host a meeting or presentation in a state-of-the-art modern venue with all-day event upgrade options to include private screenings and catering.

Orleans Room

This center is Gonzales and approximately 4,000 sq. ft. It includes a kitchen with ice machine, outdoor covered area for cooking, beverage bar with beer cooler, tables and chairs, AV, and. outdoor covered courtyard.

Pelican Point Golf and Country Club

A full-service catering venue with semi-formal to formal packages with a backdrop of the Pelican Point Golf Course. They can serve banquets, special meetings, weddings and so much more. Easy access of I10 in Gonzales. Can seat 80 people comfortably.

Premier Lanes

Premier Lanes can host corporate events and have a VIP Party Area. The on-site catering and café can accommodate any group. Amenities include bowling, an arcade, a ropes course, a laser maze, and bumper cars.

Sorrento Community Center

This center is located is the small town of Sorrento just minutes off of I10. It is available for small gatherings, like family reunions, meetings or parties. It can hold up to 252 people.

Sweet Magnolia Place

Sweet Magnolia Place is a perfect place to host special events- birthday parties, baby showers, wedding showers, weddings, receptions, meetings, etc., for less than 75 guests. Its neutral colors and spacious rooms make it a great space to decorate or not.

The Vault Event Center

Located in Dutchtown. This modern private event space is perfect for wedding venues, private birthday parties, workshops, receptions, workout classes, fundraisers, showers, and/or corporate meetings of up to 150 people. The main rental space is 2000 sq. feet with two breakout rooms of approximately 300 sq. feet each and a bridal lounge area.
